We realize the majority of our guests are traveling several hours to join us the celebration of our marriage, and we want you to enjoy your time here in one of Heather's favorite places - the Carolina mountains (sorry, Charleston was too expensive!) So we've done some digging to share a few things to experience while you're here and make the most of your travels.
The Biltmore House
An absolute must! When we first started dating, we visited the Biltmore and went on one of the tours. It was about two hours long, and Heather didn't even get bored (that's really saying something). The tour guides do a great job of giving you little historical anecdotes, and the home is absolutely gorgeous! Tickets can be pricey, but military discounts are available, and if you order ahead of time, you can save about $15/ticket.
The Biltmore Winery
We didn't get a chance to go on the tour, but if you're short on time and still want to experience The Biltmore, tickets per adult are about $15 each, and is just for access. Tours and tastings are complimentary with purchase of access, and there's a cute little farm right there as well for the kiddos.
